When I first began teaching band 12 years ago, I wanted to have the greatest band ever with over 100 members. I was so fired up to begin teaching band. My first band had a whopping 8 members. By the end of the year that was the best band and the most fun I ever had. This is not my band featured, but here is something to show you that you don't need a lot to make a great band. Just make it hot with good tone quality and team chemistry.
